White Friday Shopping Event in Coconut Grove Offers Alternative to After-Thanksgiving Shopping; Snow Days Return Dec. 4!

The White Party White Friday event in Coconut Grove on November 26 is an all-day shopping, dining, fashion, book signing event including a cruise on Biscayne Bay for locals and out-of area visitors coming to the White Party. Storefronts will be decorated in White showing off the 2010 White Party Cirque theme with shops competing for best-dressed window.

More than 40 Grove merchants and restaurants are offering brunch specials, unique shopping opportunities, special deals and a 4 pm private book signing with gay lifestyle chronicler David Leddick leading to the anchor event of the day, a VIP sunset 2-hour sightseeing cruise across beautiful Biscayne Bay on MT Celebration, a charter yacht at Dinner Key. Shoppers to Experience First Midnight Sale at Dolphin Mall PLUS Magical Snowfalls!

Dolphin Mall will open its doors a lot earlier this year for Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. On November 26 at midnight, shoppers will experience Dolphin Mall's first Magical Midnight Shopping event. A new holiday tradition will begin as shoppers engage in a magical night of shopping and live entertainment. When the doors open at midnight, Dolphin Mall greeters will meet guests at all of the mall's entrances promoting store offers and distribute giveaways throughout the mall.

Customers will have an opportunity to participate in an enter-to-win $5,000 shopping spree. Second place winner will win an iPad. The first 1,000 people to arrive at the late-night affair will receive a Midnight survival kit, complete with welcome bag, Starbucks Coffee VIA package, shopping list note pad, store offers and other surprise gifts. Don't Miss Dolphin Mall Snow Beginning Wed. Nov. 24!
South Florida is invited to Dolphin Mall during the holidays to experience the one and only Magical Snowfall. The rare weather occurrence in Miami begins at Dolphin Mall on Wednesday, Nov. 24 at 7 pm and continues into the new year. For the eighth year in a row, Dolphin Mall's Magical Snowfall will take place in the Ramblas Plaza. In addition to the daily 7 pm snowfall, snow will fill the air at 9 pm as well every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until January 2, 2011. There will be no snow on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24), Christmas Day (Dec. 25) or New Year's Eve (Dec. 31).

In true Dolphin Mall holiday tradition, magical wands will be distributed every night to children under 12 years of age when their parents sign up to receive the Dolphin Mall e-bulletin. At the stroke of 7 pm, the children will wave their wands in the air and cause the snow to return to the mall while illuminating the sky with a warm holiday glow.
