Holiday Magic Returns To Dadeland Mall With the Santa Photo Experience

The Santa Photo Experience at Dadeland Mall began its annual run on Nov. 18 when children can be photographed with Santa Claus through Dec. 24 in the Center Court.

“There is always a great deal of entertainment and fun at Simon malls during the holiday season, but the Santa Photo Experience is something generations of families count on every year,” said Humberto Maldonado, director of mall marketing for Dadeland Mall.

Something extra fun this season is the Cutest Santa Photo Contest, designed to find the most adorable children’s photo with Santa! The Cutest Santa Photo Contest will be hosted on Dadeland Mall’s Facebook page.

Entering the contest is easy; simply post your favorite photo of your kid with Santa on the Santa Photo App on Dadeland Mall’s Facebook page between Nov. 1 and Dec. 14 at noon. The winner gets a visit from Santa Claus before Christmas Eve, with a sleigh full of prizes valued at more than $2,000. Dadeland Mall Invites Families To Take A Tour ‘Around The World’ On Friday, Oct. 14

Dadeland Mall invites children of all ages to travel around the world and explore a variety of dynamic cultures at the “Around the World” event on Oct. 14 from 6:30pm-8pm. This free event will allow young travelers to explore different cultures, and is presented by The Simon Kidgits Club.

The Simon Kidgits Club’s “Around the World” is free to members. Families can sign up for the Kidgits Club, during regular mall hours, for an annual membership fee of $5. Membership includes a Kidgits Club membership card and T-shirt, scheduled entertainment and activities for families, a Birthday Club (including an electronic birthday card and gift redemption certificate), unique programs and offers, discounts and a quarterly newsletter. Henri Bendel to Bring New York City Vibe to Miami's Dadeland Mall

Soon Miami will see stripes! Henri Bendel, one of Manhattan's chicest shopping destinations, is celebrating its grand opening at Dadeland Mall, Miami's premier shopping destination, on Fri., July 29. The internationally-recognized store invites fashionistas to revel in a champagne toast and take pictures in a fun, digital photo station on its opening day from 6:30pm-9:30pm.


Henri Bendel is a girl's playground, where they can find the new and next in handbags, accessories, jewelry and gifts. Since 1895, its signature brown and white shopping bags have been spotted swinging from the arms of stylish young women from around the world. Now the famed Fifth Avenue retailer will welcome trendsetters to its newest store opening at Dadeland Mall. It will be located on the west side of the mall, across from Victoria's Secret.

From Fri., July 29 through Sun., July 31, shoppers will receive a 20% off splurge card to treat themselves to their favorite Henri Bendel signature items. On Fri., July 29, from 6:30pm-9:30pm, guests can enjoy champagne and have their picture taken in a digital photo booth which will produce Bendel's brown and white striped photo strips.  On Sat., July 30, from 10am-9:30pm, customers can receive a free limited edition Henri Bendel tote with any purchase of $150 or more. The fashion forward store is bringing its New York City vibe to Miami with a Sunday brunch, which will include bagels, coffee and virgin Bloody Mary's on Sun., July 31, from noon-2pm.

Bring "The Perfect Side Dish" and Win!

"The Perfect Side Dish" holiday recipe contest just got more delicious with contest prizes from Pollo Tropical as a preview to "What Can You Do?," a statewide food drive Nov. 20-Dec. 14 at Simon Malls in Florida, in collaboration with the Florida Association of Food Banks. Submitted recipes must include canned ingredients; the ever-so-popular green bean casserole or sweet potato pie are good examples of recipes with canned food items.
