Due to an overwhelming reception by the South Florida community and strong ticket sales, Cavalia’s new production, “Odysseo,” announced that a third additional week will be added to the limited engagement of the production at Bicentennial Park, which will extend its stay in Miami until March 25.

After an extended standing ovation on opening night, Miami Herald’s Howard Cohen commented about the show. "If Walt Disney were still alive, he might create a show as magical as Cavalia's new ‘Odysseo,’ he said. "But it wouldn't be better than the wonderful world mastermind Normand Latourelle has created under his White Big Top."

Nathalie Rodriguez of WMIA-FM, 98.3, describes the show as “One word split in two: Awe-some! It's artistic and majestical, but most importantly, not to be missed!"

Soul of Miami raved “The show is truly amazing. Between the astounding horsemanship and acrobatics combined with the awesome scenery and visual effects, this show will leave you wanting to see more. This is one show you will not want to miss.”

“We are delighted to finally be back in Miami,” expressed Normand Latourelle, founder and artistic director of Cavalia. “Our first show was received wonderfully by the South Florida community two years ago, but the reception of our new production, ‘Odysseo,’ has been overwhelmingly wonderful. In an effort to please the public, we will extend the run to please the high demand.”

For its exclusive run in Miami, Odysseo will be presented under the White Big Top at Bicentennial Park in downtown Miami. Tickets are on sale now at the introductory price of $59.50 to $109.50 + applicable fees for regular tickets.

For guests who desire an extraordinary outing, the show can be customized for an extended experience from $144.50 to $199.50, including a Horse Lovers Package that lets patrons tour the Cavalia stables after the show, and the VIP Rendez-Vous Package which includes a tour of the stables after the show, a cocktail/dinner reception and much more. Special pricing is also available for children (2-12), juniors (13-17), and senior citizens (65+). For ticket information, please visit www.cavalia.net or call 1-866-999-8111.

Headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Cavalia Inc. operates two separate touring shows, Cavalia and Odysseo, both of which marry the equestrian arts, stage arts and high-tech theatrical effects at never-before-seen levels. Cavalia, seen by some 3.5 million people across North America and Europe since its 2003 debut, celebrates the relationship between humans and horses by loosely recounting the evolution of this bond.

Cirque Du Soleil To Present Alegría In Limited Engagement at the BankAtlantic Center, July 20-31

Cirque du Soleil recently announced the critically-acclaimed touring production Alegría will take the BankAtlantic Center stage in Sunrise from July 20-31 for a limited engagement. Tickets are on sale now for all performances at www.cirquedusoleil.com/alegria or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

Alegría is a Cirque du Soleil classic and an internationally acclaimed production that has entertained more than 10 million people worldwide. Alegría is a mood, a state of mind. The themes of the show, whose name means "jubilation" in Spanish, are many. Power and the handing down of power over time, the evolution from ancient monarchies to modern democracies, old age, youth—it is against this backdrop that the characters of Alegría play out their lives. Kings' fools, minstrels, beggars, old aristocrats and children make up its universe, along with the clowns, who alone are able to resist the passing of time and the social transformations that accompany it.

Alegría features an international cast of 55 performers and musicians from 17 countries and showcases breathtaking acrobatics. Show acts include Power Track, a brilliant display of synchronized choreography and tumbling on a trampoline system hidden under the stage floor. In Russian Bars, artists fly through the air and perform spectacular somersaults and mid-air turns, landing on bars perched on the sturdy shoulders of catchers.

There are also numerous other acts featured in Alegría -- For a complete show line-up click HERE!
