Landry’s Restaurant Group Menus Add Special Seasoning to Miami Spice

The Oceanaire Seafood Room
During the months of August and September, the city of Miami has teamed up with an impressive lineup of restaurants to host Miami Spice. Participating Landry’s restaurants include Morton’s The Steakhouse, Chart House and The Oceanaire Seafood Room.

Miami Spice has grown to be quite popular because it gives people in Miami an opportunity to experience the city’s exceptional restaurants for an affordable price. Each restaurant is required to create a three-course menu for both lunch and dinner.

Waterfront dining at Chart House
Landry’s restaurants are recognized in Miami for their delicious menus and boast items that guarantee a fine dining experience. Some of these items can be found on the various Miami Spice menus, such as:  Oceanaire’s Parmesan Crusted Maine Lobster Tail for dinner, Oceanaire’s Steamed Prince Edward Island Mussels for lunch, Morton’s Baked Five Onion Soup for dinner, and the Chicken Bianco for lunch. Additionally, Chart House is offering a Slow Roasted Prime Rib and Spiced Yellowfin Ahi Tuna. Lunch is $19 or $23, and dinner is $33 or $39.

Joey's Italian Café in Wynwood Launches Weekly Live Music Series

Joey’s Italian Café, a casual, elegant dining destination in Wynwood.

The affordable contemporary Italian café that helped to make Wynwood a dining and entertainment destination, Joey’s Italian Café, has added a weekly live music series on Thursdays. The restaurant aims to create a relaxed, loungey night in Wynwood where folks can come enjoy the sounds of local musicians while kicking back with a glass of wine and one of Joey’s authentic rustic dishes or famous pizzas. The restaurant also has a new happy hour each Thursday and Friday, from 6pm-7pm, where guests can enjoy half-off signature cocktails and complimentary antipasti at the bar.

Artists perform from 8pm-11pm on Thursdays. The line-up is impromptu; recent musical performers have included local luminaries Jennifer Wagoner, Taboca, Lina Gaudezzi and others. Line-up changes weekly.

Live entertainment takes place on the patio at Joey’s Italian Café, located at 2506 N.W. 2 Avenue in Wynwood every Thursday. For more information call 305-438-0488 or visit www.joeyswynwood.com. No cover or minimum. Valet parking is available for $5.

Established in December 2008, Joey’s Italian Café was the first restaurant to open in Wynwood since the area began its transformation into a hip Arts District, nearly a decade ago–and it created an immediate buzz. Food & Wine magazine cited Joey’s innovative thin-crusted pizza as one of the top pizzas in the U.S., local food critics raved and national coverage appeared in the Wall Street Journal and Boston Globe, among many others.

The affordable, chic restaurant is owned by Joey Goldman of Goldman Properties, which rejuvenates urban areas and transforms them into thriving global destinations. Joey’s serves Wynwood’s burgeoning arts community with a fine-tuned menu of healthy, classic dishes from Venice and other culturally rich Italian regions.

The restaurant’s décor is casual and elegant, encompassing 75 seats inside and on the private al fresco garden terrace that has become a favorite among artsy locals and food and wine enthusiasts from all over the world. Joey’s serves lunch and dinner Monday-Saturday.
