Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day

For the sixth year in a row, Smithsonian magazine is partnering with museums around the United States to offer free admission with a special downloadable ticket. More than 1,500 museums are participating in this year's Museum Day. Each ticket is good for admission for two and only one ticket is allowed per household and valid for admission to one museum on Saturday, September 25.


In South Florida, the following museums are honoring the Museum Day offer:

• Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum, FIU campus, West Dade 
• Gold Coast Railroad Museum, south Miami-Dade County 
• Bass Museum of Art, Miami Beach 
• Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), North Miami
• Art & Culture Center of Hollywood
• Museum of Art Ft. Lauderdale 
• International Swimming Hall of Fame 
• Coral Springs Museum of Art 
• The Florida Keys History of Diving Museum, Islamorada 
• Harry S Truman Little White House SHS, Key West
