Unique Yoga+Music Fest "Wanderlust" Comes to Miami Beach's The Standard

Where can you do beach yoga with the country’s most beautiful instructors? Sun Salutation to Pink Floyd by the pool? Get your dance on to DJ sets immediately after a Detox facial?

Meet Wanderlust, the nation’s fastest growing (and only one of its kind) music + yoga festival—kicking off its 2011 season at The Standard Spa, March 17-20.

Miami Beach's The Standard Spa provides the perfect natural backdrop for this four-day extravaganza of relaxation, rejuvenation, and fun in the sun. Whether you are looking to get centered on your yoga mat, shake your booty on the dance floor, spot celeb yogis flown in from New York for a bit of R&R, or escape the city streets for a refreshing drink by the pool, Wanderlust at The Standard Spa has it all!

Attendees can also meet the festival founders or one of the inspiring yoga teachers who will be leading the event including: Cameron Shayne, founder of Budokon (yoga-meets-martial arts practice loved by celebs including Jennifer Aniston and Malin Ackerman), Elena Brower of Vira Yoga, Schuyler Grant of the Kula Yoga Project, and Barbara Verrochi and Kristin Leigh of The Shala. They are teaming up with The Standard's own acclaimed teachers Loren Russo and Christy Nones to create the ultimate yoga weekend.

DJ Bonobo will spin some tunes at the event, while special sunset bayside performances will be provided by The Mayapuris, Shaman’s Dream, Prasanna and Garth Stevenson.

Tickets start at $750 for four days of world class yoga classes and workshops, full access to the spa and hydrotherapy baths (Hamam, Sauna, Steam Room, Mud Lounge, etc.) and a three night stay (plus a yummy healthy breakfast courtesy of Chef Mark at The Lido Restaurant + Bayside Grill).

The Standard is located at 40 Island Avenue, Miami Beach, with spectacular views of surrounding Biscayne Bay.
