Kirk Jewelers has been part of the Miami community since 1947, when Julian and June
Newbauer opened Kirk Jewelers. Beginning with meager stock, Julian eventually turned Kirk Jewelers into a major icon on Flagler Street and became known affectionately as "Mr. Kirk." Their son Julian Jr. and his wife, Alisa, entered the family business in 1973. As a Gemological Institute of America (GIA) graduate gemologist, registered jeweler and certified gemologist with the American Gem Society, he developed a profound knowledge of jewelry and watches. He ran Kirk Jewelers with honor and integrity, in the spirit of his father. With a feeling of great family pride, Julian and Alisa's children, Jeffrey and Allison, entered the business in 2006-2007 along with Jeffrey's wife, Malena. Jeffrey and Allison feel lucky to be able to continue the family business and relaunch their new boutique during a time of such excitement for Downtown Miami. When Kirk Jewelers first opened its doors, Downtown Miami was the main shopping area that everyone flocked to. World War II was over and people were pouring into the city.

Now, 64 years later, Kirk Jewelers is excited to be part again of Downtown Miami's renewed vitality. With the new luxury condominiums, trendy restaurants, cultural arts center and all the excitement generated by the Miami Heat, Downtown is undoubtedly the place to be.
The new boutique will allow Kirk Jewelers to cater to their customers in a way they never could before. The new store gives them ample space for a full watchmaker facility, offering their customers faster service. The new boutique is also a great venue for hosting an array of events that will take place throughout the year, showcasing high-end luxury watches and fine jewelry. The longevity and success of Kirk Jewelers is based on love of the industry and love of people. Their ethical business practices, sense of humor, courtesy, knowledge and outstanding service have won them customers all over the world, and they in turn have enjoyed serving them. Kirk Jewelers has been in business for more than 64 years and and they look forward to many more.
